Coming from a 6th grader but I hope this is right!
Polynomials of degree greater than 2 can have more than one max or min value. The largest possible number of minimum or maximum points is one less than the degree of the polynomial. The following examples illustrate several possibilities.
since the degree is 4
number of possible extreme values = 4 -1 = 3
46 because if the age of the son was 8 then the father was 24 and if we add 8 (because that’s how many years passed) we get 16 and 32 which fit the criteria so if we take off 1 year on each (because only 7 years pass instead of 8) we can add them together and get 46
Opposite sides of angles are equal so
x+12=4x-48
12+48=4x-x
60=3x
x=60/3
x=20
Answer:
15°
Step-by-step explanation:
sum of exterior angles=360°
each angle=360/24=15°
b
20 ×n=360
n=360/20=18
18 sides
c.
(n-2)×180=174n
180n-174n=360
6 n=360
n=360/6=60
number of sides =60
