X=7

Explanation:

A triangle equals 180°, and they gave us one length already, and it says the one arm of the triangle is equal to the other so we know that the third angle is going to be the same as the second angle.

180=90+(6x+3)+(6x+3)
Combine like terms
180=96+12x
Subtract 96 from both sides
84=12x
Divide 12 by both sides
7=x

Now check it,

90+(6*7+3)+(6*7+3)
90+(45)+(45) =180

Natalija [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. Manifest Destiny was the belief that the United States was meant to be extended to the Pacific Ocean.

Step-by-step explanation:

The ideology of Manifest Destiny, whose predominance in American politics occurred especially during the 1800s, established that the United States was a nation whose destiny was to expand the guidelines of Western civilization throughout the North American continent, from the shores of the Atlantic to the Pacific. Thus, this doctrine encouraged the United States to acquire territories to the west, such as the Louisiana Purchase or the War against Mexico.

Solve each equation. check you solution.
(7t - 2) - (-3t + 1) = -3(1 - 3t)
Lynna [10]
(7t-2) - (-3t+1) = -3*(1-3t)
First distribute:
7t-2+3t-1 = -3+9t
Now get all the terms with 't' on the same side by subtracting/adding:
7t+3t-9t = -3+2+1
Combine the terms:
1t=0
t=0

Check:
Plug in 0 for t and see if both sides of the equation come out the same:
Does (7(0)-2) - (-3(0)+1) = -3(1-3(0)) ?
(-2) - (1) = -3(1) ?
-3 = -3 ?
Yes! It works, so t=0!

Solve each system of equations using the elimination method

3x+8y=2
4x-2y=-10
LenaWriter [7]

x = -2

y = 1

let's multiply second equation by 4 to get a common coefficient of y variable.

16x-8y=-40

add the equations

3×+8y=2

16x-8y=-40

----------------

3x+16x = -38

19x = -38

x = -2

substitute x

3×-2 + 8y = 2

-6 + 8y = 2

8y = 2+6

y = 1

check the answer

-6+8 = 2

-8-2= -20
