Answer:

H0 : μEng = μBio

H1: μEng ≠ μBio

Step-by-step explanation:

μEng = Engineering average gpa

μBio = Biology average gpa

To test for difference between two sample means , in this case grade point average of biology majors and Engineering major.

Null hypothesis is the initial truth, which is that ; there is no difference in the mean grade point average of both biology and engineering majors

H0 : μEng = μBio

The Alternative hypothesis is the opposite of the null, which is stated has ; there is difference between the average GPA of both Engineering and Biology majors

H1: μEng ≠ μBio

Hello! I need some help figuring out the following parts of trigonometry. Since this is a rather difficult math term to understa
Zina [86]
Alright so these ratios have many different forms but the way I use to remember the trigonometric ratios is:
SOH
CAH
TOA

This means:
Sine --> Opposite/Hypotenuse
Cosine --> Adjacent/Hypotenuse
Tangent --> Oppositie/Adjacent

With that in mind, number 1:
Would be Sine, or C.

Number 2 would be, Cosine, or E.

And number 3 would be Tangent, or B.

Hope that was helpful.

When do u use two number lines to compare two fractions
jeka94

Answer:

You need two number lines to compare two fractions when their denominators are different. The procedure is that you draw to segment lines of the same length but divede each line according to its denominator and then compare the place of the points that mark the fraction numbers, the line that content the marke further away from the start end will be indicate the greater fraction. For example, the fractions 3/4 and 7/10. One line will be divided inot 4 equidistant segments, and the other with 10 equidistant segments. The fraction 3/4 will be represented with 3 marks on the first line, and the fraction 7/10 will be represented with 7 marks on the second line. Now you can compare the size of the two segments marked adn decide which fraction is greater.

GOOD LUCK!
