Answer:

niche >> an organism’s relationship or interaction with specific abiotic and biotic factors in its environment

commensalism >> a symbiotic interaction in which one organism benefits from the interaction, while the other remains unaffected

parasitism >> a symbiotic interaction in which one organism benefits from the interaction, but harms the other organism

mutualism >> a symbiotic interaction in which both organisms benefit from the relationship

Explanation:

A niche can be defined as the place of a given organism in a community and its ecological role within the ecosystem. Commensalism is an ecological relationship in which an organism/species benefits, while the other is neither harmed nor helped. An example of commensalism is the association between a frog that uses a tree as protection against predators. Mutualism is an ecological relationship in which both organisms/species benefit. An example of commensalism is the association between one bee and one flowering plant. Bees obtain nectar from the flower, while the flowering plant uses this mechanism to cross with other plants from the same species. Finally, parasitism is an ecological relationship in which an organism benefits, while the other organism is harmed. For example, a flea that lives on a dog is a parasite that exploits the host organism (dog) to obtain food.

Hey there!

I think you mean the Finches. Each Finch has a beak that is very similar to other beaks on the other islands. This shows that they are related. Their beaks change so that they can live better in their environment. They all had a common ancestor.

I hope this helps!
