Answer: He can load at most 20 boxes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x = Number of boxes.

Then, Weight of 75 boxes = 75x

Also, Weight of worker = 200 pounds

So total weight in elevator =  Weight of 75 boxes + Weight of worker

=  75x  +200

A warehouse elevator can hold 1750 pounds.

∴ 75x  +200 ≤ 1750

⇒ 75x ≤ 1750 -200

⇒ 75x ≤ 1550

⇒ x ≤ 20.67   [Divide both sides by 75]

It implies the maximum number of boxes it can hold = 20

Hence, the true statement is

He can load at most 20 boxes.

Which graph represents the solution to the given system? y=4x+4 y=4x-3
Burka [1]

Answer:

Refer the attached figure.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : System of equation y=4x+4,\ y=4x-3

To find : Which graph represents the solution to the given system?

Solution :

Equation y=4x+4 plotted with a red line passing through (-1,0) and(0,4).

Equation y=4x-3 plotted with a blue line passing through (0,-3) and(0.75,0).

As their slopes are equal i.e. m=4.

So, the equation of lines are parallel.

There is no solution of the equations.

Refer the attached figure of the equations.

20. A rectangle has an area of 45 cm². The length is one cm less than twice the width. Find the dimensions of
prohojiy [21]
Width = 5, length = 9

Area = length * width

length = (2 * width) - 1

sub equation for length

45 = (2w - 1) * w
45 = 2w^2 - w
2w^2 - w - 45 = 0
(2w - 9)(w - 5)
2w - 9 = 0
w = 9/2, l = 8 no

w -5 = 0
w = 5, l = 9 yes
