Answer:

Solving the inequality we get: \mathbf{x>-7}

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to solve and graph the inequality 3(7x+17) > -19 + 14x

Solving:

3(7x+17) > -19 + 14x

Step 1: Multiply  3 with terms inside the bracket

21x+51 > -19 + 14x

Step 2:Subtracting 51 on both sides

21x+51-51 > -19 + 14x-51\\21x>14x-70\\

Step 3: Subtract 14x on both sides

21x-14x>+14x-70-14x\\7x>-70

Step 4: Divide both sides by 7

\frac{7x}{7}>\frac{-70}{7}\\x>-10

Solving the inequality we get: \mathbf{x>-7}

The graph is attached in the figure below.

What is the measure of the central angle of a circle with radius 60 cm the intercepts a 15 pi centimeters arc
alekssr [168]

The measure of the central angle of a circle is 45⁰

<h3>What is Angle?</h3>

A figure which is formed by two rays or lines that shares a common endpoint is called an angle.

Here,

Theta (angle) θ = arc length / radius

θ = 15 π / 60 cm

θ =  0.79 radians

Convert to degrees

θ = 0.79 radians = 0.79 X 180/ π

                     = 0.79 X 180/ 3.14

                     = 45⁰

Thus, the measure of the central angle of a circle is 45⁰.

The pair of points lies on the same line with the given slope. Find x.
KIM [24]
If the gradient is -2 that just means we work back the way, the method i use to find the gradient is y^2-y^1/x^2-x^1 so if we sub the variables in that gives us -18-(-8)/3-x so if we add that up we get -10/3-x, so what has to be on the bottom to get -2? in this case it would be -2 so the overall answer would be -10/5 which would give us a slope of -2 when simplified :) hope this helps

Rectangle JKLM is reflected across the x-axis and then the y-axis. The point I was
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Reflection involves mirroring a point over a line.

<em>When L is reflected across the x and y axes, the new coordinates are (7,3)</em>

Given that:

(x,y) \to (-7,-3)

When a point is reflected across the x-axis, the rule is:

(x,y) \to (x,-y)

So, we have:

(-7,-3) \to (-7,3)

When a point is reflected across the y-axis, the rule is:

(x,y) \to (-x,y)

So, we have:

(-7,3) \to (7,3)

Hence, the new coordinates of L are (7,3)
