Answer:

141.4 sq cm

Step-by-step explanation:

to find the area of the outer circle with a smaller circle inscribed within, you find the area of each and subtract the smaller area from the larger

the radius of the smaller circle is 2

we have to find the radius of the larger circle so we use what we know about its circumference:

C = 2πr

43.96 = 2πr

21.98 = πr

21.98 / π = r

r ≈ 7 cm

now use r = 7 to find area of larger circle:

A = πr²

A = π49

Area of smaller circle:  4π

Area of larger circle without including inner section is 49π - 4π = 45π

45π ≈ 141.4 sq cm

Perimeter is the border around something...you add all the sides. So you you'll add 5+5=10 , 8+8=16 , and then you add 10+16=26. The answer is 26.

Nana76 [90]

Answer:

50%

Step-by-step explanation:

29 right and 29 wrong. 29+29=58

Divide 29 by 58 and you get .5

Move the decimal over two to the right, and there’s the 50%.

You could also multiply .5 by 100 and you’ll still get 50!

Log 6 (1/36) <br><br> 6 is the base. How to evaluate this?
vovangra [49]

We can write the argument of the logarithm as a power of 6:

\log_6\dfrac1{36}=\log_6\dfrac1{6^2}=\log_66^{-2}

Then using the property that \log_ba^n=n\log_ba, we get

\log_6\dfrac1{36}=-2\log_66

and since 6=6^1, we have \log_66=1, so the value of this expression is simply -2.

Are the ratios 1:4 and 6:10 equivalent?
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

For ratios to be equivalent, they need to have something in common like 2:4

4:8. Those are common because ":2:4" is the simplified version of 4:8. (I mean it could be simplified to 1:2 but this is used as an example) (mark brainliest plas)
