<span>In national politics, the Senate holds a trial and decides whether to remove an impeached officeholder. The vote must be at least a two-thirds majority in favor of conviction. If the impeached officeholder is the President of the United States, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides during the trial.</span>

Moveable things only could be the objects of furtum; for the fraudulent handling (contrectatio fraudulosa) of a thing was furtum, and contrectatio is defined to be "loco movere.
