The formula for triangle area is b•h/ 1/2. so you would do 12•5=60. then divide that by 2 to get 30

I need help asap ! this is 6th grade math surface area .
faltersainse [42]

Answer:

S.A. = 62

Step-by-step explanation:

We have:

two rectangles 2 × 3

two rectangles 3 × 5

two rectangles 2 × 5

Calculate the areas:

A₁ = (2)(3) = 6

A₂ = (3)(5) = 15

A₃ = (2)(5) = 10

The Surface Area:

S.A. = 2A₁ + 2A₂ + 2A₃

S.A. = (2)(6) + (2)(15) + (2)(10) = 12 + 30 + 20 = 62

You have $55,000 in savings account that pays 2% intrest per year. The inflation rate that year is 3.24%. How much do you make i
Sever21 [200]
Your interest formula is given to you.

Interest in a year = principal (the amount invested) * rate (the interest rate) * period (the time you're measuring)

Interest = 55,000 * 2% * 1 year = 55,000 * 0.02 * 1 = $1,100

How much would you need to have made for your spending power to keep with inflation? Your interest rate would have needed to match the inflation rate, otherwise prices are going up faster than you're saving.

Required interest = 55,000 * 3.24% * 1 year = 55,000 * 0.0324 * 1 = $1,782

How much buying power did you lose? The difference between your required interest and your actual interest.
Buying power lost = 1,782 - 1,100 = $682. You lost this much in buying power.

Hope that helped :)

When do you reject the null hypothesis?
Nimfa-mama [501]

You reject the Null Hypothesis when you have a small P-Value. Here is an example! Also we never accept the null hypothesis, think of it like this if we bring someone to court you wouldn't say their innocent of a crime, you only know that if they do not get convicted of the crime they are not guilty in the eyes of the law. Same thing applies here, since there could be several answers that satisfy our assumptions made, we can not be certain that 1 of those assumptions is the REAL answer it's just AN answer.
