If you dont have a heating pad what is the best way to get rid of kramps
vichka [17]

Hello!

If you don't have a heating pad and are looking to get rid of cramps,

Things like taking a hot bath or shower can be a good replacement. Heat helps in minimizing the cramps.

Alternatively drinking lots of water and taking an NSAID (Things like Aspirin) will also help in getting rid of cramps!

Certain foods have also been said to help in preventing cramps.

Occasionally doctors have been known to recommend Birth Control or Magnesium supplements to help with cramps as the change in hormones allows for the process to more easily go through your body and less painfully.

Explain the impact of personal health behaviors on the functioning of body systems.
Yuliya22 [10]
It usually depends what body system you are talking about but in general there are many that impact health. Personal health behavior impacts the body in all sorts of ways

For example: eating habits if the person is used to eating junk food and really never eat healthy it can cause a person to create to much insulin causing them to have diabetes and sometimes become obese, from there so many other things can happen it can begin to affect your blood pressure and in some rare cases your liver enzymes get out of hand and the person can begin to lose weight but not in a good way

Another example: exercise is a personal health behavior it helps keep your body in shape and allows your to build muscle and conditioning for your lungs. Is a person has poor behavior and chooses not to exercise they can become over weight and their body slows down without exercise it affects things like your knees, your breathing and so much more. But it can also affect someone mentally they start having insecurities and sometimes it leads to things like depression.

Hope this helped!!!

I just have to get some things off my chest cause I don't know if I'll ever have the courage to do it again.
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

yo, literally the worst thing you can do to yourself is to be someone you're not, I know bc I did the same thing, and I overthink everything and in my mind I make it my fault. Instead of telling my family who i really am, i found someone who i could talk to and she believed in me more than i did in myself, and it helped me to show everyone who i was, regardless of how my parents felt about who i really was, at the end of the day, i just knew that she was gonna be there for me.
