Answer:

Stereotype threat could negatively affect Rachel, as she might experience fear of being perceived as not professional enough for her young age or lack of work experience. That same fear could make her make mistakes that enhance that sense of fear.

Explanation:

When the adrenal glands react to stress, the immune system slows, which means that Rachel could experience a growing tendency to getting sick if she gets stressed, and wouldn´t be able to attend school nor work.

Working and studying at the same time might make Rachel not sleep as much as she needs, meaning that she won´t be getting enough REM sleep, which can negatively affect her ability to learn, both at work and at school.

It would be recommendable for Rachel to use the distributed practice technique to study, meaning that she should take breaks between study periods to ensure she can absorb all the information. This technique will be useful at work as well.

At the same time, it should be good for Rachel to work at the lab, because that will give her a better perspective of how others manage to work and study in such a demanding field, and, through reciprocal determinism, her personality and her new environment will most likely get her to find a comfortable way to do what she likes.

Although Rachel does seem to doubt herself a little, she seems like a proactive young girl with enough self-efficacy to get her through the stressful times that come with working and studying.

Provide a dinner menu that is acceptable to 5 guests of different
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

Answered below

Explanation:

A dinner menu for people of these faiths must take into consideration what is acceptable and what is not acceptable for consumption by the people practising these faiths.

A dinner menu that is all-inclusive and acceptable to these five different faiths would be as shown below;

Appetizers:- Sweetcorn pancakes with avocado salad.

For salad:- Big Italian salad or avocado salad

Main dish:- Grilled chicken with fresh cherry salsa.

For dessert:- Pineapple rolls and almond cookies.

For drinks:- Water and Ribena.

Avoidance of alcoholic drinks and some meats is a good decision. A majorly plant-based or vegetarian diet and recipes seem more acceptable by all and does not break any rules.

Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

South Carolina Ordinance of Nullification, Nov 24, 1832.How was this ordinance a defense of state's rights?

Federal taxes on imports cannot be imposed if the state considers the actions unconstitutional.

What 1828 political party rejected the national bank and supported the presidential campaign of Andrew Jackson?

Democratic Party.

Explanation:

The United States imposed a series of tariffs in the early 19th century to protect and promote US industries over European ones. The most important of these was the Tariff of 1828. While these tariffs benefited the northern industrial states, the agrarian southern ones suffered the most as they imported most of their manufactured products. When president Andrew Jackson failed to significantly change the tariffs in 1832, South Carolina reacted by issuing the "Ordinance of Nullification" in November 24, 1832, declaring the tariffs null and void in the state. They considered that any actions that were against the constitution, such as the federal taxes on imports, can be rendered void by states. The federal government prepared to intervene by force in the state, but the revised Compromise Tariff of 1833 was considered good enough by South Carolina, ending the crisis.

The Democratic Party arose as a result of a split of the old Democratic-Republican Party, as the Democratic faction led by Andrew Jackson sought a party that was based on Jefferson's ideas and closer to the "common man". It opposed slavery and the establishment of a national bank .
