Answer:

3) addition of the 7-methylguanosine cap to the 5 end

Explanation:

The 7-methylguanosine (m7G) cap is a modified methylated version of the Guanosine (G) nucleotide which is located on the 5′-terminus of the eukaryotic messenger RNA (mRNA). The m7G cap plays a key role in mRNA translation in eukaryotic organisms, from yeasts to mammals. During mRNA processing, m7G cap is added at the 5' end in order to protect mRNA from degradation by nuclease enzymes. Moreover, this cap also enables the proper attachment of the mRNA molecule to the ribosome during protein synthesis.

The correct answer is (C).

Explanation:

 • Biostimulation can accelerate Hydrocarbon removal.
 • Biostimulation includes the adjustment of nature to animate existing microscopic organisms fit for bioremediation.
 • This should be possible by expansion of different types of rate constraining supplements and electron acceptors, for example, phosphorus, nitrogen, oxygen, or carbon (for example as molasses).
 • Then again, remediation of halogenated contaminants in anaerobic conditions might be animated by including electron benefactors (natural substrates), in this manner permitting indigenous microorganisms to utilize the halogenated contaminants as electron acceptors.

Suppose that Rosie and Ross are both carriers for PKU (a rare autosomal recessive disease.) If they have eight children, what is
aalyn [17]

Answer:

1/65,536 = 0.001523 %

Explanation:

A: normal allele

a: recessive allele causing PKU

The probability that Rosie and Ross have one child with PKU will be >>

Aa x Aa = 1/4 AA; 1/2 Aa; 1/4 aa

In consequence, the probability that Rosie and Ross have eight children with PKU will be >>

(1/4)⁸ = 1/65,536 = 0.001523 %

A plasma membrane and a cell wall _____.
Maksim231197 [3]

I'm pretty sure its 'have different structures and different functions' because a plasma membrane is also known as a cell membrane and it controls what enters or exits the cell whilst the cell wall provides structural support. They are 2 different structure with different functions.

Hope this helps! :)
