\frac{1}{2} X 14=  \frac{1}{28}
\frac{1}{28} X 11=  \frac{1}{308}
\frac{1}{308} X 9.5 =  \frac{1}{2926} or 2926.
Hope this helped!

Write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form using y=mx+b
AnnZ [28]
It looks like it goes through (0,-3) and (1,2), so the gradient is (change in y)/(change in x) ->
(-3-2)/(0-1) = 5
So y=5x+b

Then as we know it passes the y axis at (0,-3) so b= -3

So we have y=5x-3

Find a particular solution to y" - y + y = 2 sin(3x)
leonid [27]

Answer with explanation:

The given differential equation is

y" -y'+y=2 sin 3x------(1)

Let, y'=z

y"=z'

\frac{dy}{dx}=z\\\\d y=zdx\\\\y=z x

Substituting the value of , y, y' and y" in equation (1)

z'-z+zx=2 sin 3 x

z'+z(x-1)=2 sin 3 x-----------(1)

This is a type of linear differential equation.

Integrating factor

     =e^{\int (x-1) dx}\\\\=e^{\frac{x^2}{2}-x}

Multiplying both sides of equation (1) by integrating factor and integrating we get

\rightarrow z\times e^{\frac{x^2}{2}-x}=\int 2 sin 3 x \times e^{\frac{x^2}{2}-x} dx=I

I=\frac{-2\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3}+\int\frac{2x\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3} dx -\int \frac{2\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3} dx\\\\I=\frac{-2\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3}+\int\frac{2x\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3} dx-\frac{2I}{3}\\\\\frac{5I}{3}=\frac{-2\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3}+\int\frac{2x\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{3} dx\\\\I=\frac{-2\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{5}+\int\frac{2x\cos 3x e^{\fra{x^2}{2}-x}}{5} dx

Translate this problem to an equation and solve. The product of 2 positive consecutive even integers is 48. What is the smaller
bonufazy [111]
Let x represent the first even integer: x = 2(k) → y = 2k
Let y represent the second even integer: y = 2(k + 1)  → y = 2k + 2

   x  ·     y        = 48
(2k) · (2k + 2) = 48
 4k² + 4k - 48  = 0
 4(k² + k - 12)  = 0
4 (k + 3)(k - 2) = 0
k = -3, k = 2  (Note: POSITIVE integers so k = -3 is ruled out)

x = 2k → x = 2(2) → x = 4
y = 2(k + 1) → y = 2(2 + 1) → y = 2(3) → y = 6

The smaller number (x) is 4

25 POINTS!!!!! Problem-Solving with 2-Digit Multiplication YOU WILL BE GIVEN 25 POINTS!!!!
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Since they have 57 40-ounce water bottles, you need to have 57x40. Since they have 38 20-ounce bottles in stock, you need to have 38x20. Sinc ehte problem is asking for the total ounces in all, you need to add them. We do not need to add parentheses because PEMDAS

So,

57 x 40 + 38 x 20= n
