Can someone help me? The question is State two scenarios that demonstrate the process diffusion
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

One could be in the cell. The cell respires, thus producing carbon dioxide in it. So the concentration builds up in the cell. Diffusion is the net movement of particles from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration, and the carbon dioxide concentration outside the cell is less, therefore the carbon dioxide molecules moves outs of the cell.

Another scenario is when perfume is sprayed into the air. The perfume particles collides with the air particles (lower or no concentration of perfume). This process goes on and on. This is diffusion since the concentration perfume particles collides with the less concentrated particles of perfume.

Where are new volcanoes forming in the Hawaiian Island chain? Be specific and use directional terms N, S, E, W, etc.
White raven [17]

Answer:

If the hot-spot theory is correct, the next volcano in the Hawaiian chain should form east or south of the Island of Hawai'i. Abundant evidence indicates that such a new volcano exists at Lö'ihi, a seamount (or submarine peak) located about 20 miles off the south coast.

Lorico [155]
The advantage of being double stranded in DNA is that double strands makes it much more stable. Having two alleles for one gene gives variation. Double Stranded DNA can tolerate many risk factors from the homeostasis' processes that is keeping the cells alive. Double-stranded DNA ensures that the actual genetic information is less likely to react, and it can be opened in the case of replication and transcription. Another advantage of double strand DNA is the ability of the cell to create a new portion of DNA in case of DNA damage, by using the non-damaged strand.
