Answer:

isabel saves the most of their salary each month

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume the Salary of Gavin, Harry & Isabel be $100

Since

Gavin saves 28%

So his saving amount is Gavin

= 28% of $100

= $28

As harry spends 3 ÷ 4 of his salary

So Harry Spenings is

= (3  ÷ 4) of $100

= $75

Now

Harry Saving is

= $100 - $75

= $25

Also the ratio between isabel saves, and spend is 3:7

3k + 7k = 10k = 100S

 k = $10

Now

the amount of salary isabel saves

= 3k

= 3 × $10

= $30

Now

$30 > $28 > $25

i.e.

isabel Saving >  Gavin Savings > Harry Savings

Hence, isabel saves the most of their salary each month

olchik [2.2K]

Alees and Emma spend 1064 hours together

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that, Alees and Emma design an office park in 28 weeks

Each architect spends 19 hours each week on this project

To find: Total number of hours the architects work on this project

From given,

Total number of weeks = 28

Each architect spends 19 hours each week

Therefore,

Time spent in one week by Alees = 19 hours

Time spent in one week by Emma = 19 hours

<em><u>Total number of hours the architects work on this project</u></em>

Total\ number\ of\ hours = (19 \times 28) + (19 \times 28)\\\\Total\ number\ of\ hours = 532 + 532\\\\Total\ number\ of\ hours = 1064

Thus, they spend 1064 hours together

How to do part a &amp; b
nata0808 [166]
You can do part a using The Pythagoras theorem:-

30^2 = x^2 + 24^2

x^2 = 30^2 - 14^2 = (30+24)(30-24) =  324

x =  18
