Answer:

Phone used 11,500 centimeters of yarn

Step-by-step explanation:

So first we know that 1 meter is equivalent to of 100 centimeters

Now lets convert everything into centimeters

197*100=19700

And thats it

Now we know she started with 19700 centimeters of yarn and has 8200 centimeters left over.

We can make an equation

We can make “x” stand for amount of yarn used.

19700-x=8200

Minus x becuase thats how much she used and equal 8200 becuase Thats what was left over

Now use inver operations

-x=-11,500

Now divide - on both sides

x=11,500

She used 11,500 centimeters of yarn

The radius is 10.4 cm. And the angle is 120 which is 1/3 of the circle.
Just use the area formula: 3.14 *r^2 to find the total area of 339.62 and then divide this by 3 to get 113.21. Then to subtract the triangle..find the area of the traingle which is 1/2 (10.4)^2 = 54.08. 113.21 - 54.08 = 59.13 which should be your answer

B+ p= 10.40
b=2x 2.50
Now using substitution method replace b in first equation with value of second equation basically combing the two equations into one do you end up with one variable to solve .
2 x 2.50 +p =10.40
5 + p=10.40
P=$5.40
b =$5.00
The answer is EACH pendant cost $2.70
(You have to divide 5.40 by two )

Two more than the quotient of a number and 6<br> is equal to 8
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

36

Step-by-step explanation:

"Two more" = + 2

"quotient of a number and 6" = n/6

"equal to 8" = = 8

Set the equation:

n/6 + 2 = 8

Isolate the variable n. Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the other. Do the opposite of PEMDAS.

First, subtract 2 from both sides.

n/6 + 2 (-2) = 8 (-2)

n/6 = 8 - 2

n/6 = 6

Isolate the variable n. Multiply 6 to both sides.

(n/6)(6) = (6)(6)

n = 6 * 6

n = 36

36 is your answer.
