Why does the heaviness of an object not relate to the density

Biology

Answer:

Scientists define density as the mass of a substance per unit volume. The word “per”

signals that thinking about density requires thinking about a relationship. It is the relation

between the mass (or weight) of one unit of a material and the volume of that one unit.

Density cannot be directly perceived or measured. It must be inferred from the

relationship of the mass and volume. However, it can be determined by calculation

which is how many schools teach it. To calculate density, you first measure the weight

and volume of an object precisely, then you divide the mass by the volume (i.e. d=m/v,

density equals mass divided by volume). So for example, the density of water is 1 gram

per cubic centimeter because a volume of 1 cubic centimeter of water has a mass of 1

gram. A substance which has a mass of greater than one gram per cubic centimeter

has a density greater than 1.0 gram per cubic centimeter; a substance which has a

mass of less than one gram per cubic centimeter has a density of less than 1.0 gram

per cubic centimeter.

Gymnosperms and angiosperms evolved ______ allowing them to live and reproduce in drier habitats than bryophytes and seedless va
Lemur [1.5K]

Gymnosperms and Angiosperms-

Gymnosperms and angiosperms evolved seeds and pollen grains allowing them to live and reproduce in drier habitats than bryophytes and seedless vascular plants.

Properties of gymnosperms and angiosperms-

Gymnosperms are plants which bear seeds without fruits or without any outer coverings. These plants also do not produce flowers. Most plants under this group have needle-shaped leaves. This is an adaptation as these plants grow in colder conditions. Gymnosperms. These plants produce pollen without bearing flowers. Angiosperms are found in almost all climatic conditions. These plants bear flowers and produce seeds that are enclosed inside a fruit or inside an ovary. The seeds of angiosperms have a single cotyledon.

A decrease in the resting membrane potential is __________ whereas, __________ is an increase in the membrane potential.
nexus9112 [7]

Answer: depolarization; hyperpolarization

Explanation:

At resting potential (absence of stimulus), the cell membrane of a neuron is said to be polarized with a net negative charge within due to more potassium (K+) ions present than sodium (Na+) ions.

However, an impressed stimuli reverses the ions content as K+ ions flows out and quickly replaced by Na+ ions, resulting in a decrease in membrane potential and a more positive cell membrane. Thus, depolarization occurs.

An increase in the membrane potential (so that it becomes more negative) is called hyperpolarization.

You are given a task to produce massive quantities of Protein A from soybean so that the Protein A can be added to a mixture to
kiruha [24]

Producing 100 kg of protein A requires calculating the necessary amount of soy, calculating the necessary inputs, looking for related information, and supervising the process.

To produce 100 kg of protein A with soybeans, I must look for information related to the cultivation of soybeans, what is the protein concentration in a soybean, and other aspects necessary for its maintenance and harvest.

In this search, I find that soy has a protein concentration of 50% or higher, so if I have to get 100 kg of protein, I must get at least 200 kg of soy.

So I grow some soybean plants in pots inside my house and I harvest their grains until I complete 200kg, supervising the whole process so that the plant does not suffer any disease or problem.
