  Cleopatra was a beautiful and charismatic queen of Egypt.She was the last ruler of the Macedonian dynasty. She had an affair with Julius Caesar and apparently bore him a son. After Caesar's assassination, she got into an affair with Mark Anthony, then a rival of Octavian.For political power, both combined armies to fight Octavian but lost. When Mark Anthony got misinformed that Cleopatra had died, he killed himself by falling on his sword. So when Cleopatra heard of the news, she followed him and committed suicide.

Cleopatra VII  , often simply known as Cleopatra , was the last of a series of rulers called the Ptolemies who ruled Egypt for nearly 300 years.She was the queen of Ancient Egypt and currently one of the most famous female rulers in history. Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator was born around 69B.C , Cleopatra s ethnicity was believed to be Greek descent , her lineage may have been black African.When her father died in 51B.C she and her brother took the throne , she was only 18 years old.As a tradition they married , complications arose between Cleopatra and her brother Ptolemy XIII , she wanted the throne for herself.Cleopatra had many love affairs , which eventually produced children.Cleopatra s lover Marc Antony was falsely informed that Cleopatra had died , the despondent roman leader committed  suicide   by stabbing himself , Cleopatra ended her life as well by being bitten by an Egyptian cobra , she died on August 12 , 30 B.C.The two lovers were buried together as they had wished.
