Neko [114]

Answer:

1. Are you required to report that result to the FAA? If so, to whom and when?

Yes, you are.

2. If so, to whom and when?

A written report must be submitted with an alcohol and/or drug related MVA to initiate a preliminary investigation to ensure your report was within the required 60-day time frame and there are no other reportable actions.

Explanation:

1. You must report alcohol and/or drug related administrative actions, whether a conviction took place or not. Arrests, administrative actions and convictions are also reportable under Part 67, the airman application for a medical certificate, under the 14 CFR Part 61.

2.  Arrests, administrative actions and convictions are also reportable under Part 67, the airman application for a medical certificate. You have 60 days from the effective date of the administrative action (driver license, suspension, revocation, or cancellation) or conviction. FAA Form 8500-8 "Application for Airmen Medical" is an express consent provision which authorizes the National Driver Register (NDR) to release information about driving records to FAA. Information on the NDR record contains pointers to states that keep a driving history on everyone. FAA will obtain applicable records to determine if you have a reportable alcohol and/or drug related MVA.

Why was it difficult or impossible for the government of the United States
aniked [119]

One of the biggest problems was that the national government had no power to impose taxes. To avoid any perception of “taxation without representation,” the Articles of Confederation allowed only state governments to levy taxes. To pay for its expenses, the national government had to request money from the states. The states, however, were often negligent in this duty, and so the national government was underfunded.

Without money, the US government could not pay debts owed from the Revolution or easily secure new funds. Foreign governments were reluctant to loan money to a nation that might never repay it. The fiscal problems of the central government meant that the currency it issued, called the Continental, was largely worthless.

Hope that this helps :)

Which of the following courses of action can Congress take if the Supreme Court declares a law to be unconstitutional?
exis [7]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

The Supreme Court is the highest court in the country. If they declare a law to be unconstitutional, the law is void, and must either be rewritten or cancelled. The only way for Congress to make the declared law be constitutional "as written" is if they pass that law as a constitutional amendment. Then, they can tell the Supreme Court to interpret that.
