Answer:

y=3.14x

Step-by-step explanation:

if you graph this on a calculator you can just visually see what line lines up with all the points. but you can also plug in one of the points into the equations to see if its true or not and if its true choose that equation. like use the first points (2, 6.28) and plug them into the equations and see which one is true.

What is the domain and range
Rainbow [258]

Well, keep in mind that the domain of a function is the entire set of possible values of the independent variable. To make it more clear, the domain is the set of all possible x-values, which will make the function work, and with real y-values as the output. So, the range would be the set of all of the second elements of an ordered pair (y-coordinates).

If you made a T chart like the picture you have above, you would have to put x (age of person) and y (books read).

So,

x = age of person

y = books read

A boat is heading towards a lighthouse, whose beacon-light is 139 feet above the
Novay_Z [31]

The horizontal distance between light house and boat is 1588.78 feet approximately.

The figure is given by,

Here, AB  = height of the lighthouse bacon light above the water = 139 feet

Now angle ACB = 5 degree

Let the horizontal distance of light house from the boat = BC = x feet

So by trigonometric function we get,

tan 5 = AB/BC

tan 5 = 139/x

x = 139/tan 5 = 1588.78 (approximately)

Hence the horizontal distance between light house and boat is 1588.78 feet approximately.
