here's the solution : -

if i made 9 costumes and it is 30 % of total costumes, so lets take the total number of costumes as <u>x</u><u> </u>

so, by above statement we get,

\frac{30}{100}  \times x = 9

=》

x = 9 \times  \frac{100}{30}

=》

x = 30

so, total number of costumes = 30 costumes.

Solve for y. ln(y-1)-ln2=x+ln x
alexandr402 [8]
ln(y - 1) - ln(2) = x + ln(x)
e^{ln(y - 1) - ln(2)} = e^{x + ln(x)}
\frac{e^{ln(y - 1)}}{e^{ln(2)}} = e^{x} * e^{ln(x)}
\frac{y - 1}{2} = e^{x} * x
\frac{1}{2}y - \frac{1}{2} = xe^{x}
2(\frac{1}{2}y - \frac{1}{2}) = 2xe^{x}
y - 1 = 2xe^{x}
y = 2xe^{x} + 1

Ghella [55]

Answer:

Molly paid for each song $1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ------> amount that Molly paid for each song

we know that

The amount that Molly paid for each song multiplied by 8 is equal to the gift card value

so

The linear equation that represent this problem is

8x=12

Solve for x

Divide by 8 both sides

x=12/8

x=\$1.5

Molly paid for each song $1.5
