If isosceles triangle ABC has a 130° angle at vertex B, which statement must be true?

Answer:

m∠A = 25° and m∠C = 25°

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of all three angles in a triangle must add up to 180°.  Since the measure of angle B is 130°, the sum of the other two angles have to be 50°.

Also, the triangle is isosceles, meaning two of the sides are equal in length.  For those sides, their corresponding angles must also be equivalent.  In this case, it's the two smaller angles.  Since we have 50° between the two angles, A and C, divide 50 by 2 to get 25° for both angle measurements.

The volume of a larger cone:

V_l=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi\cdot4.5^2\cdot(3+6)=\dfrac{1}{\not3_1}\pi\cdot20.25\cdot\not9^3=(20.25)(3)\pi=60.25\pi\ cm^3

The volume of a smaller cone:

V_s=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi\cdot3^2\cdot6=\dfrac{1}{\not3_1}\pi\cdot\not3^1\cdot3\cdot6=18\pi\ cm^3

The volume of the frustum:

V=V_l-V_s\\\\V=60.25\pi-18\pi=42.75\pi\ cm^3

<h3>Answer: 42.75π cm³.</h3>

Amplitude of 16 units, a period of 5 units, a vertical displacement of 3 units up and a phase shift of 2.5 units left.
allochka39001 [22]

The question is incomplete. The complete question is :

A sine function that has an amplitude of 16 units, a period of 5 units,a vertical displacement of 3 units up and a phase shift of 2.5 units left. Graph this function and show each step.

Solution :

The standard form of the sine function is

y = a sin (bx - c) + d

Here given :

Amplitude, a = 16

Period :   $\frac{2 \pi}{|b|} = 5$

            ⇒ $b = \frac{2\pi}{5}$

Phase shift :  $\frac{c}{b} = 2.5$

                   $\Rightarrow \frac{c}{2 \pi/5}=\frac{5}{2}$

                  ∴ $c = - \pi$

The vertical displacement : d = 3 units up

Now substituting a, b, c and d values in the standard form gives :

$y = 16 \sin \left( \frac{2 \pi}{5}x -(- \pi)\right) + 3$

$y = 16 \sin \left( \frac{2 \pi}{5}x + \pi\right) + 3$

The graph is attached below.

There are 3 teams of 18 employees working today. Company
Degger [83]
First do 3 × 18 because there are 3 different teams and each one has 18 workers. 3 × 18 = 54. So you only need 9 people on the floor. 9/54 in fraction form. Are there a certain number of floors? I think this is the answer to the question you have written question though.
