Answer:

When the denser tectonic plate dives beneath another plate it is due to the high energy by the Earth’s gravity that pushes into the mantle. Earth’s tides, which are caused by a gravitational tug of the Moon and the Sun, also put extra strain on geological faults. how to prepare for an earthquake

How do moving plates change Earth's crust?
Serhud [2]
It changes because when the 2 tectonic plates collide they form mountains and volcanoes.

Continental drift causes tectonic plates to either "pull apart" or "crash" into each other.

Plates that crash into each other either form mountains, or when one slides under the other (a subduction zone) volcanoes from.

Some alkenes have geometric (cis-trans) isomers because ________. all of the carbon atoms in the compound are rigid and cannot r
faust18 [17]

Answer:

the carbon atoms in the double bond cannot rotate

Explanation:

Isomers refer to molecules that have a distinct arrangement of the atoms in the molecule but have the same molecular formula.

Alkenes refer to a series of unsaturated hydrocarbons that contain ethylene and propylene.

Some alkenes have geometric (cis-trans) isomers because <u>the carbon atoms in the double bond cannot rotate</u>.

What is the volume in liters of 321 g of liquid with a density of 0.84 g/mL
Rasek [7]
Density is weight by volume.

First.  If you divide the weight by density you can find the volume

Second you must convert the ML in to Liters.

\frac{321 \frac{g}{1}}{0.84 \frac{g}{mL}} = \frac{321(g)(mL)}{0.84g}=\frac{321mL}{0.84}=382.14mL

1L=1000ml

\frac{1L}{1000mL}

(382.14mL)( \frac{1L}{1000mL})= \frac{(382.14mL)(L)}{1000mL} =\frac{382.14L}{1000}=0.38214L

0.38214 Liters.
