2 and a half hours estimate

Answer:

7:20 PM.

Step-by-step explanation:

7mph+8mph=15mph

It at least has to be 1 hour(since 15 is one hour and we need 20)

double 15 and we get 30.

if you count by fives starting from 15 to 30, you should get 3.

Now, divide 60 to 3 and you get 20 min.

So, 1 hour plus 20 min is 7:20

Jennifer spent $42 on a magazine and 7 candy bars. The magazine cost $7, then how much was each candy bar
Genrish500 [490]
$5. You subtract the $7 from the $42 since that was the magazine then you divide that(35) by 7 since that is the amount of candy bars that were bought. That’ll give you the answer of $5 for each candy bar.

What is the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle if each of the two legs is 4 units? square root of 8 units 4 units squa
ycow [4]
By the Pythagoras theorem, in a right triangle with the sides being a and b,

 a² + b² = Hypotenuse²

Hypotenuse² = 4² + 4²

Hypotenuse² = 16 + 16 = 2*16

Hypotenuse = √2 * √16

Thus, hypotenuse = 4√2

Translate (3,2) to the left one unit. Then reflect the result over the y-axis. What are the coordinates of the final point?
OleMash [197]

Answer:

(-2, 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Take point (3, 2) and first translate it left one unit.  Now the point is (2, 2)

Now reflect it over the y-axis.  Doing so keeps the y value the same, we have a vertical line of reflection, so we are only changing the distance to the y-axis, which is the x-value.

Our x value is 2 units away from the y axis, so its reflection will be 2 units away on the other side of the axis.

The new x value is -2, so the point is (-2, 2)
