Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This question really threw me at first, even after graphing the equation I still didn't believe the answer.

(8^1/3) ^2 = 4^x

8^2/3   =  4^x                 Any fractional power is a root function

                                      x^1/2 = square of x  or   √x

x^ 1/3  is the is the cubic root of x  or   ∛x

My first thought was to multiply the 1/3 times 2 (the square).

It is more oblivious if you find the cubed of 8 and then apply the square

     (∛8)²  =  2²  = 4       so    4 is equal to 4^x       4 = 4^x     if x =1

What Is the medían number of books<br>
TiliK225 [7]

Step-by-step explanation:

You didn't provide any numbers but in order to find the median of something you order a given list of numbers from least to greatest. After you've done this you find the number located in the middle of the number set. If there are two numbers in the middle then you add them together and divide that number by two.

Hope this helps.

Need help with this im confused
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

-\frac34 -\frac14 i

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's start with distributing: \frac1{4i}-\frac{3i}{4i} Simplify i with i in the second term, and rearrange.-\frac34 +\frac1{4i}. Since i in the denominator looks ugly, let's multiply top and bottom by i. -\frac34 +\frac i{4i^2} = -\frac34 +\frac i{4(-1)} =-\frac34 -\frac14 i. The middle passage is based on the fact that, by definition, i^2=-1
