Answer:

Fluorine

Explanation:

Fluorine is the "best" at removing electrons because it has 5 electrons on its second shell. The 5 electrons are really close and are trying to drag in another electron to complete the shell and have all 6 electrons to complete the valence shell.

Assuming that seawater is a 3.50 mass % aqueous solution of NaCl, what is the molality of seawater?
Fantom [35]

Hey there!

Consider 100 g of solution:

Mass of NaCl = 3.50% of mass of seawater

( 3.50 / 100 ) * 100 => 3.50 g

Number of moles as shown below:

Molar mass NaCl = 58.44 g/mol

n = Mass / molar mass

n = 3.50 / 58.44 => 0.059 moles of NaCl

Mass of sweater:

Mass of solution - Mass of NaCl

100 - 3.50 = 96.5 g

96.5 g in Kg :

96.5 / 1000 => 0.0965 Kg

Therefore ,calculate molality by using the following formula:

molality = number of moles of solute / mass of solution

molality = 0.059 / 0.0965

molality = 0.61 m

Hope That helps!

Predict the products of the following reaction: Zn(ClO₃)₂ (aq) + K₃PO₄ (aq)
nika2105 [10]

The products : Zn₃(PO₄)₂ (s) + KClO₃ (aq)

Further explanation

Given

reaction: Zn(ClO₃)₂ (aq) + K₃PO₄ (aq)

Required

The products

Solution

Double-Replacement reactions : an ion exchange between two ion compounds in the reactant to form two new ion compounds in the product

General formula :

AB + CD ⇒ AD + CB

One of the characteristics of the double replacement reaction is the presence of precipitated compounds

Zn(ClO₃)₂ (aq) + K₃PO₄ (aq) ⇒ Zn₃(PO₄)₂ (s) + KClO₃ (aq)

Zn₃(PO₄)₂ (s)⇒ precipitated compounds, so that this reaction can occur

Which of the following materials is useful for making molds because it has a low melting point
Tanzania [10]
The answer would be C.) clay The wax can turn really hard and can be unbreakable when present in colder materials due to the lipids present in it. Clay however can become a mold because of its low melting point.

Jimmy claims that the Earth’s rotation takes longer than the Earth’s revolution. Do you agree or disagree?
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

I disagree, because earth rotation on its axis causes day and night, on the other hand the its revolution on the orbit around the sun causes seasons. One Rotation would means one day has completed, and one revolution would mean that one year has completed. Therefore, it's obvious that Earth's revolution takes longer than the rotation.

I hope that helps...
