Answer:

I'm thinking HL.

Step-by-step explanation:

So, in order to be AAS, the angles have to be the next thing after each other if that makes sense. Like, for example, you could do triangle RSQ is congruent to triangle QPR IF S and P were congruent... but there not, darn! So! That isn't the answer. In order to do SAS,  you would need lines RS and PQ to be congruent because they are back-to-back with angles R,Q, plus the side (leg) that the triangles share which automatically makes them congruent btw :) Okay so this is getting a little lengthy (sorry) but I just wanted to explain why some of the answers are automatic turn offs. Anyhoo, HL would work because the hypotenuses (QS and PR) are congruent along with the one leg that both triangles share (QR or RQ however you want to look at it). I'm sorry if I'm wrong. I hope this helps!! Good luck! and always remember, if the angles and sides aren't next to each other, it doesn't match up with SAS, AAS, SSS, or ASA. Have a good night!

Answer:

B 12

Step-by-step explanation:

  • manuel ate 1/3X
  • His brother ate 1/4X
  • leftover is 5
  • total is X

manuel+brother+leftover=X

x/3+x/4+5=x

7x+60/12=x

  • cross multiply

7x+60=12x

  • collect like terms

60=12x-7x

60=5x

  • divide both by 5

x=60/5

Answer:

11.2 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

The two furthest corners of the bed are at (8, 6) and (5, 10).  To determine which is the furthest from the origin, use the distance formula.

d = √((x₂ − x₁)² + (y₂ − y₁)²)

d = √((8 − 0)² + (6 − 0)²)

d = 10

d = √((x₂ − x₁)² + (y₂ − y₁)²)

d = √((5 − 0)² + (10 − 0)²)

d = 5√5

d ≈ 11.2

Therefore, the corner at (5, 10) is the furthest from the origin, about 11.2 feet away.

Isaac is 3 years older than Rachael. In 4 years the sum of their ages will be 75. How old is Isaac now?
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

36 years old

Step-by-step explanation:

let x = age of Rachael

2x+3 = current ages combined

[(2x+3)+4]+4 = 75

2x+11 = 75

2x = 75-11

2x = 64

x = 32

Rachel is 32 years old. Isaac is 3 years older, which is 35 years old.

Hope this helped! If you need any help, tell me in the comments.
