Which three structures are found in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells? cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum, DNA ribosomes, DNA,
hoa [83]

Answer and Explanation:

Eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells share the presence of:

- cytoplasm, in which their organelles are dispersed.

-the cell membrane, which covers the cell by shaping and regulating the passage of substances (in and out of it).

- ribosomes, are the place where proteins are synthesized.

In addition, both cells possess DNA although this is not the same in both. In the eukaryotic cell it is linear and is within the nucleus, while in the prokaryotic cell it is circular and does not have a true nucleus that protects it.

Which scenario describes a way that an abiotic factor can impact a marine system? Liquid water turning into solid ice encourages
Sloan [31]

Answer:

Rapid increases in water temperature cause extensive fish kills

Explanation:

Biotic factors are all living organisms that contribute to an ecosystem. On the other hand, abiotic factors are non-living factors, such as climatic factors (temperature, rainfall, wind), edaphic factors (soil type, soil texture, soil aeration etc). Changes of abiotic factors can have a huge influence on living organisms of ecosystem. The effects might be benefical or harmful.

Some of the most common abiotic factors that can impact a marine ecosystem are water temperature, currents, light, alkalinity, oxygent concentration etc.

What would most likely happen if a person increased the amount of saturated fat in his or her diet?
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

The person's risk of cardiovascular disease would increase.

Explanation:

saturated refers to all single bonds in the hydrocarbon chain, meaning no kinks in the chain. The hydrocarbon has the most number of carbons it can have, as there are all single bonds. If the hydrocarbon has even one less carbon, there would be kink, and it would be unsaturated and liquid. Our body needs less carbon, so unsaturated fats are better. But having saturated fats means no liquid, rather solid, which means harder for the blood to get to the heart. So your risk would cardiovascular disease would increase
