The cochlea is the part of inner ear. It is spiral shaped which resembles a snail shell. It a hearing organ in the human ear. The sound vibrations move through the fluid in the cochlea. As a result the tiny hair cells in the cochlea move. The vibrations now changed into the chemical signals for the auditory nerve. Auditory nerve send signals to the brain for interpret signals into sound.
Cochlea is the shell-like part of the inner ear that converts sound vibrations into nerve impulses to be interpreted by the brain. This occur when sound vibrations cause the stereocilia in the inner ear to move, translating the vibration into neural messages.
