olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

The correct option is 3. "At pH 6.5 the enyzme is 50% active"

Explanation:

For the titratable group to be protonated and cause the enzyme to be in the active state, it needs to have gained a hydrogen cation (H+). In order for that to happen, there must be enough hydrogen cations in the environment of the enzyme, and hence, an acidic pH is required in this case.

Why are enzymes necessary? to the rate of decomposition to act as a catalyst in chemical reactions to conserve the stored energy
mario62 [17]
Enzymes acts as a catalyst in chemical reactions to speed up the rate of reaction.

Enzymes are not necessarily needed because substrates can disintegrate on their own, but enzymes are helpful to aid this process.

Of the following elements, which is the MOST reactive?
Grace [21]

We can exclude Argon (Ar) and Neon (Ne) they are both very stable. Chlorine (Cl) is reactive but not as much as Fluorine (F). So my answer would be A.

Gravity is the force that objects exert on each other because of their masses. The strength of the gravitational force between t
LuckyWell [14K]

If one of the masses is doubled, the force of gravity between the objects is doubled.

As distance between the objects increases, the force of gravity decreases.

Greater mass results in greater force

Explanation:

Gravity is related to mass and distance as proposed by the newton's law of universal gravitation.

The law states that "the gravitational force of attraction between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional the the square of the distances between them.  ".

Mathematically we have:

            F ∝  m₁ m₂

          F ∝   \frac{1}{r^{2} }

m is the mass of the body

r is the distance between them.

We can simply understand that the greater the mass, the greater the force.

Also the higher the distance between the objects, the lesser the force of gravity between them.

Now, ;

                   F = \frac{G m_{1} m_{2}  }{r^{2} }

 if the mass is double the force becomes doubled too.

   if m₁  = 2m₁

  F₁ = \frac{G m_{1} m_{2}  }{r^{2} }

  F₂ = \frac{G 2m_{1} m_{2}  }{r^{2} }

 equation F₁ and F₂, we can see that F₂ is twice F₁
