Explain how location plays a role in climate with the following; equator, lakes, mountains.

When you live closer to the equator, the climate is warmer than areas closer to the north and south poles. When elevation is higher the atmosphere is thinner and colder. Places near water tend to have more precipitation compared to places like deserts. Because there’s more water that can actually come out of the clouds.
