Ring of fire happens mostly  as a result of plate tectonics.

Now if water is ever channeled out of the pacific ocean, we would have a number of deep ocean trenches. These trenches are side by side with volcanic arcs that are forward on the path of the ring of fire.

These volcanic arc is ring of fire and it surrounds the tectonic plate. The volcanic arc is what produces islands and mountain ranges.

In conclusion, ring of fire are due to plate tectonics, Arcs along the ring of fire after water is drained from the pacific forms mountain ranges.

Answer:

if you drain the water out of the Pacific Ocean it would cause a series of deep ocean trenches that flow parallel to volcanic arcs along the ring of fire, which the arcs then create continental mountain ranges and islands

Which law relates to the ideal gas law?
professor190 [17]

<u>Answer:</u> The law that related the ideal gas law is \frac{V_1}{n_1}=\frac{V_2}{n_2}

<u>Explanation:</u>

There are 4 laws of gases:

  • <u>Boyle's Law:</u> This law states that pressure is inversely proportional to the volume of the gas at constant temperature.

Mathematically,

P_1V_1=P_2V_2

  • <u>Charles' Law:</u> This law states that volume of the gas is directly proportional to the temperature of the gas at constant pressure.

Mathematically,

\frac{V_1}{T_1}=\frac{V_2}{T_2}

  • <u>Gay-Lussac Law:</u> This law states that pressure of the gas is directly proportional to the temperature of the gas at constant pressure.

Mathematically,

\frac{P_1}{T_1}=\frac{P_2}{T_2}

  • <u>Avogadro's Law:</u> This law states that volume is directly proportional to number of moles at constant temperature and pressure.

Mathematically,

\frac{V_1}{n_1}=\frac{V_2}{n_2}

Hence, the law that related the ideal gas law is \frac{V_1}{n_1}=\frac{V_2}{n_2}

How much 0.85 M HCl solution can be made by diluting 250 mL of 10 M HCl?
7nadin3 [17]

<span>Answer is:  2940 mL of the HCL solution.</span>

c₁(HCl) = 10.0 M.

V₂(AgNO₃<span>) = ?.
c</span>₂(AgNO₃<span>) = 0.85 M.
V</span>₁(AgNO₃<span>) = 250 mL </span>÷ 1000 mL/L = 0.25 L.

<span> c</span>₁<span> - original concentration of the solution, before it gets diluted.
c</span>₂<span> - final concentration of the solution, after dilution.
V</span>₁<span> - volume to be diluted.
V</span>₂<span> - final volume after dilution.
c</span>₁ · V₁ = c₂ · V₂<span>.
V</span>₂(HCl) = c₁ · V₁ ÷ c₂.

<span> V</span>₂(HCl) = 10 M · 0.25 L ÷ 0.85 M.

<span> V</span>₂(HCl) = 2.94 L · 1000 mL = 2940 mL.

Which coefficients will balance the following reaction:
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

C ) 2, 1, 2

Explanation:

The given reaction is synthesis reaction in which lithium and bromine react to form lithium bromide.

Chemical equation:

Li + Br₂    →    LiBr

Balanced chemical equation:

2Li + Br₂    →    2LiBr

Step 1:

Li + Br₂    →    LiBr

left hand side                         Right hand side

Li = 1                                        Li = 1

Br = 2                                        Br = 1

Step 2:

Li + Br₂    →    2LiBr

left hand side                         Right hand side

Li = 1                                        Li = 2

Br = 2                                        Br = 2

Step 3:

2Li + Br₂    →    2LiBr

left hand side                         Right hand side

Li = 2                                       Li = 2

Br = 2                                        Br = 2
