The answer is a:

It's the only one that cannot be simplified. A number that will divide evenly into both the numerator and denominator so it can be reduced, or The numerator must be greater than the denominator, (an improper fraction), so it can be converted to a mixed number.

(I was a teensy bit confused from last time's answer, because it said select the CHOICES below sooo...)

Answer:

81{x}^{2}  + 18x \sqrt{2} + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

(9x +  \sqrt{2} )(9x +  \sqrt{2} ) \\  =  {(9x)}^{2}  + ( \sqrt{2}  +  \sqrt{2} ) \times 9x +  \sqrt{2}  \times  \sqrt{2}  \\  = 81 {x}^{2}  + 2 \sqrt{2}  \times 9x + 2 \\ =  81{x}^{2}  + 18x \sqrt{2} + 2 \\

Show work. This is a BC calculus problem.
stepan [7]

Answer:

D.

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that the limit definition of a derivative at a point is:

\displaystyle{\frac{d}{dx}[f(a)]= \lim_{x \to a}\frac{f(x)-f(a)}{x-a}}

Hence, if we let f(x) be ln(x+1) and a be 1, this will yield:

\displaystyle{\frac{d}{dx}[f(1)]= \lim_{x \to 1}\frac{\ln(x+1)-\ln(2)}{x-1}}

Hence, the limit is equivalent to the derivative of f(x) at x=1, or f’(1).

The answer will thus be D.

The difference of Vidya’s height and 15 is 74?
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:  V - 15 = 74;     V = 89

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

"difference" means subtraction

"is" means equals

Vidya's height <u>minus</u> 15 <u>is</u> 74

                V         -      15  =  74

To solve, add 15 to both sides: V - 15 + 15 = 74 + 15

                                                                 V =    89

Astore pays $927.40 for a water heater and marks the price up by 5%. What is the new price?
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

$973.77

Step-by-step explanation:

$927.40 = 100%

New price = 100% + 5%

New price = 105% of 927.40

105% of 927.40 = 1.05(927.40)

1.05(927.40) = 973.77
