Answer:

480 in3

Step-by-step explanation:

So the first thing I looked at was how to find the volume of a 3-dimensional square. Why do we have to do this? Well, we can see that the shape is made up of 3 different types of 3-dimensional cubes so to find the answer all we have to do is figure out the volume for each separate cube and add them all together.

So, to find the volume of a cube we have to multiply the area (length x width) by the height of each cube.

Let's start with the largest cube so we would multiply 5 x 12 x 4 which equals <u>v = 240</u>

Now let us do the second to largest by multiplying 8 x 5 x 4 = which equals    <u>v = 160</u>

Finally, on to the smallest cube, 4 x 4 x 5 =

<u>v = 80</u>

So now if we add <u><em>240 + 160 + 80</em></u> that will give us 480

So the answer is <u><em>480 in3</em></u>

Hope this is correct I was a little confused while I was figuring it out :0 Sorry if it is wrong :(

Prove the following trigonometric identity and show your work: (in other words, show that the identities on the left equal the o
fiasKO [112]
Cos t (sec t - cos t)
= cos t (1 / cos t - cos t)
= 1 - cos^2 t
= sin^2 t      (using the identity sin^2 t + cos^2 t = 1 )

Use the data below to construct a stem and leaf display on your own paper, then describe the distribution's shape
professor190 [17]
So for example 50 65 68 72 74 78 80 82 83 84 90 91 92 92 92 92 93 94 95 97 98 98 99 99 100 100.
if we use that we could make this.
   Stem                           Leaf
   5                                   0
   6                                   5 8
   7                                   2  4  8
   8                                   0  2  3  4
   9                                   0  1  2  2  2  2  3  4  5  7  8  8  9  9
   10                                 0  0

What is the equation for the circle with the center (11,6) and passes through the point (17,12)
MissTica

Answer:

The answer to your question is the letter D. (x - 11)² + (y - 6)² = 72

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Equation = ?

Center = (11, 6)

Point = (17, 12)

Process

1.- Calculate the length of the radius using the distance between two points formula.

d = \sqrt{(x2 - x1)^{2}+ (y2 - y1)^{2}}

x1 = 11    y1 = 6

x2 = 17  y2 = 12

-Substitution

d = \sqrt{(17 - 11)^{2}+ (12 - 6)^{2}}

d = \sqrt{6^{2} + 6^{2}}

d = \sqrt{36 + 36}

d = \sqrt{72}

radius = \sqrt{72}

2.- Write the equation of the formula

    (x - 11)² + (y - 6)² = (\sqrt{72})²

Result

   (x - 11)² + (y - 6)² = 72
