Hydrogen peroxide rapidly decomposes to water and oxygen. If the water is appearing at a rate of 2.0 M/s, what is the rate of th
balu736 [363]

Answer:

Rate of reaction = 2.0 M/s

Explanation:

2H2O2(g) --> 2H2O(g) + O2(g)

Rate of formation of H2O = 2.0 M/s

Rate of reaction can be measured using multiple techiques and parameters like volume, pressure etc.

Among these techniques is the measurement of appearance of products.

This means we have;

Rate of reaction = Rate of appearance of product

Hence;

Rate of reaction = 2.0 M/s
