Explanation:

I live in a Brazilian city in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro. It is a city with an average population of 300,000 inhabitants and is recognized as the city of steel, for having one of the largest metallurgy companies in the country, and consequently the whole city is built around this company, with many citizens working as metallurgists, young people as interns and various technical support work areas.

On the other hand, there is a shortage of jobs mainly for the youngest due to the few possibilities of local employment, but because they belong to a geographic region that lies between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, many young people seek jobs in the capitals and thus manage to build a professional future .

Piaget's view assumes that thinking undergoes ________ advances, but the information-processing approach assumes that developmen
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

The correct answers are:

Qualitative; quantitative

Explanation:

According to Piaget's theory, the cognitive approach in children changes in a qualitative way since human beings develop their capacities in different ways as they grow and get mature, processing the acquired information in different ways as well. He says it happens in a qualitative manner, more than a process of accumulation of information where more and more information is stored.

On the other hand according to the information-processing approach which is mainly adopted by cognitive psychologists, the knowledge acquisition is mainly based on a quantitative model, in which information is processed according to the number of experiences and storage of information that will be used when necessary. This model is generally compared to that of a computer in which an amount of information can be stored  to use later.
