Answer:

Her mistake was in how many bags would be able to equally hold 4 bars.

325/4 is 81.25, which would mean there needs to be 82 bags, in which you wouldnt be able to hold 4 each equally.

A better option for Paz is to put 5 bars in each bag as 325 is an even multiple of 5. As such would result in the bag count being brought down to 65 bags to evenly hold all of the bars.

Hope this helped!

(|5 - 3x | - 1) - ( 1 - 3x ) = 0
Basile [38]

(| 5 - 3x | - 1) - (1 - 3x) = 0

|5 - 3x| - 1 - 1 + 3x = 0

|5 - 3x| - 2 + 3x = 0

1) (5 - 3x) - 2 + 3x = 0, if 5 - 3x >= 0

3 = 0. has no solutions

2) -(5 - 3x) - 2 + 3x = 0, if 5 - 3x < 0

-5 + 3x - 2 + 3x = 0

6x = 7

x = 7/6

5 - 3x < 0

-3x < -5

x > 5/3.

has no solutions

Answer:

\dfrac{5}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the gradient (slope) of the given <u>linear relation</u>, use <u>arithmetic operations</u> to isolate y:

Given relation:

3y-5x=10

Add 5x to both sides:

\implies 3y-5x+5x=10+5x

\implies 3y=5x+10

Divide both sides by 3:

\implies \dfrac{3y}{3}=\dfrac{5}{3}x+\dfrac{10}{3}

\implies y=\dfrac{5}{3}x+\dfrac{10}{3}

<u>Slope-intercept form of a linear equation</u>

y = mx+b

where:

  • m is the slope (gradient)
  • b is the y-intercept

Comparing the rewritten equation with the slope-intercept formula, the gradient (slope) of the given linear relation is ⁵/₃.
