Answer: The correct answer is ionic bond.

Explanation:

Ionic bond is defined as the bond which is formed by the complete transfer of electrons from one element to another element. The atom which looses electrons is known as electropositive atom and the atom which gains electron is known as electronegative atom. This bond is formed by the electrostatic attraction between two oppositely charged ions.

Covalent bond is defined as the bond which is formed from the sharing of electrons between the atoms forming a compound.

Hydrogen bond is defined as the weak bond which is formed by the electrostatic attraction of a proton of hydrogen ion and the electronegative atom such as oxygen, nitrogen and fluorine.

Metallic bond is defined as the bond which is formed when two positively charged atoms having free electrons are shared among a lattice of cations.

From the above information, the correct answer is Ionic bond.

What is the process in which species evolve in response to changes in each other?
lara [203]
I believe it is behavioural isolation. When there are changes within a certain species, e.g. new birdcalls are formed in certain individuals in a species, "traditional" birds may not like such mating calls and only choose to mate with the more common birdcalls from majority of the birds. There are also some birds that may like the new birdcalls, and choose to mate with birds with those birdcalls. They become genetically isolated as they continue such behavior. Eventually, through genetic drift and other mutations, different species form from a single specie.

Hope this helps! :)
