I quickly did this on paper and here is my answer I’m not 100% sure I’m correct but here it is
In 1 hour the boats will be 15 miles apart. In 3 hours the boats will be 45 miles apart.

The ratio of men to women is 6 to 5 or 6/5
6x / 5x = 1500/ W where W is the number of women
6/5 = 1500/W
W = 1250 women
