Technolgy influenced many variables throughout time, such as imperial expansion, knowledge of the environment, better medical development, and many other things. If we didn't have the technological advancements that we did throughout the ages, the world would be very different from today. Many things could have gone astray and history would be very different. For example, if boats were never invented, immigration and exploration would be almost non-existent, and the Americas wouldn't have been discovered by Europe. Another thing that would have changed is international trade, trading between countries would be impossible without the use of boats unless the countries were connected by land.

Hope this helps :)

Adults living in the United States but born elsewhere have lower rates of obesity than do the native born, and the children of t
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

High

Explanation:

In the question above, the children of these immigrants i.e, the adults who born somewhere else but currently living in United States have high rate of getting obese because United states will be considered as the native place for their children. The obesity of their child will be dependent equally in the quality of life they are living in and the other children living in. They will be grown in the same environmental condition as any other children of United states. Thus, nature and nurture play an important role in a child's well-being and development.
