When subjects sign up for studies that are scheduled at a convenient time or have an exciting title, this can?
Julli [10]
I believe the answer is: Bias the sample

Convenient timing and biased title would most likely make the study to appeal to a specific segment of population, which could make a the sample become biased.
For example, researchers could make the majority of their subjects to be younger in age if they conveniently timed the study in the middle of the night, when most middle aged and older people are already asleep.

Maslowich

The UN was invited by the then President Kasavubu and Prime Minister and Patrice Lumumba respectively on the 12th of July of the same year, against the secession group backed by the Belgian government. According to Eysenck, extraverts have a reticular activating system that is __________, and introverts have an _____________ ret
Firlakuza [10]

According to Eysenck, extraverts have a reticular activating system that is tight, and introverts have an open reticular activating system.

Explanation:

Hans Jurgen Eysenck, a German-born British psychologist, is well-known for his developments in the field of personality and intelligence within the domain of psychology.

As a part of his biological trait theory, he spoke about extraversion and introversion - the former referring to individuals who are extremely expressive and outgoing, while the latter referring to those who are relatively more shy, quiet or reserved in nature.

According to him, the reticular activating system is responsible for controlling the quantities of sensory inputs in the brain. In introverts, this system is wide open (hence introverts tend to avoid any extra stimulation). However, in extraverts, this system can be seen to be somewhat tighter, making them insensitive (and hence craving extra stimulation).

omeli [17]
Three main layers of the earth
1. Core the innermost part
2. Mantle the middle part
3. Crust the outermost part

The special feature of the upper mantle is the asthenosphere. It is located just below the lithosphere and is made up of rock that is fluid and can move. The fluidity of these rocks powered the movement of tectonic plates on the earth's crust. Circular convection cycles in the hot, fluid upper mantle rock move the plates over the surface of the Earth.
