I think it is 16... since 2•2=4 and if it does not give you your b(base) or l(length) it will automatically become the other number

SAT scores probability 1
fredd [130]

Answer:

  a.  81.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

The z-score for 400 is ...

  Z = (X -μ)/σ = (400 -500)/100 = -1

The z-score for 700 is ...

  Z = (700 -500)/100 = 2

The empirical rule tells you that 68% of the distribution is within ±1σ of the mean, and 95% is within ±2σ of the mean. Half of that first number is in the range Z = -1 to 0, and half that second number is in the range Z = 0 to +2. So, the probability you want is ...

  (1/2)(68%) + (1/2)(95%) = 81.5% . . . . matches choice A

Please help me !! (no this isnt a test/exam)
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

  infinitely many

Step-by-step explanation:

Add 12-y to both sides of the second equation to put it into standard form like the first equation:

  y +(12 -y) = (x -12) +(12 -y)

  12 = x - y . . . simplify

  x - y = 12 . . . . second equation in standard form

We see this is identical to the first equation. That means every solution of the first equation is also a solution of the second equation. There are infinitely many solutions.

Which expression represents the surface area?
ohaa [14]

Answer:

2x + 1/2 sq. ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Surface area = 2(lw+wh+lh)

Given

length l = x ft

width w = 1/2 ft

height h = 1/2ft

Substitute

Surface area = 2(x(1/2)+(1/2)(1/2)+x(1/2))

Surface area = 2(x/2+1/4+x/2)

Surface area = 2(2x/2 + 1/4)

Surface area = 2(x + 1/4)

Surface area = 2x + 2/4

Surface area = 2x + 1/2 sq. ft
