Answer:

In my opinion i think fevers are helpful because when we are feeling bad we can test our temperature with a thermometer. Also fevers turn on the body's immune system. So therefore they help the body fight infection.

Amylase is an enzyme, which are protein molecules that help in the breakdown of complex substances. Enzymes have optimum conditions in which they operate, which also include specific pH ranges. The pH in the stomach is too low for amylase to work in, so amylase is denatured and does not perform its function in the stomach.

The other organ producing amylase is the pancreas.
