Answer: Hurricane is not a man-made environmental change.

Explanation:

Changes which take place naturally in the environment without any force or work done by man towards causing that change are called non-man made environmental changes.

For example, hurricane is a natural environment change because a hurricane is formed moist and warm air above water surface of sea, oceans or rivers begin to rise.

This rising air is replaced by the cooler air present in the atmosphere. The continuation of this process leads to the formation large clouds and thunderstorms which occurs in the form of hurricane.

Whereas pollution is caused by vehicles driven by man, from chimneys of factories etc. So, it is a man-made environmental change.

Chemical spill can occur due to mishandling by man in laboratories or chemical labs.

Deforestation also occurs by man as they cut the trees for various needs to theirs.

Thus, we can conclude that hurricane is not a man-made environmental change.

Which of the following molecules would you expect to have a dipole moment of zero?
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

CCl2=CCl2

Explanation:

Recall that the individual dipole moments in a symmetrical molecule cancel out each other thereby making the overall molecule to be non polar.

CCl2=CCl2 contain individual polar bonds but the molecule is highly symmetrical thus its dipole cancel out and the molecule has no overall dipole moment, hence CCl2=CCl2 has a dipole moment of zero .
