What is the slope of the line in this graph?

Mathematics

5 0

Answer:

The slope is 5/6

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the slope here, there are two ways.

Count the rise over run with the boxes

Or

Find Any 2 points and use y2-y1/x2-x1 to find slope

Both ways work.

For this graph Since it looks pretty basic, I‘ll use the rise over run technique

Now we start from the origin side that is where one point is and just rise vertically until I reach a point and when I do, just run that many steps.

So I reached till 5 and ran to 6 which is a  point on the coordinate graph

So to put it in slope form, it’s rise over run

Heres a easy way to remember it

lets say you wake up, you have to rise first and then run

You can’t run and then rise, that makes no sense

So here its rise 5 and run 6

so 5/6 is the slope

How many milliliters of syrup are in a 100-ml sample containing 6.55 g of syrup per 20 mL if the syrup's specific gravity is 1.3
sashaice [31]

Answer:

25 milliliters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

volume of sample = 100 ml

Syrup present in sample = 6.55 g per 20 mL

Therefore in 100 mL, amount of syrup present = \frac{\textup{6.55}}{\textup{20}}\times100

or

amount of syrup present in 100 mL sample = 32.75 grams

Now,

Specific gravity of the syrup = 1.31

also,

Specific gravity of the syrup = \frac{\textup{Density of syrup}}{\textup{Density of water}}

or

1.31 = \frac{\textup{Density of syrup}}{\textup{1 g/mL}}

or

Density of syrup = 1.31 g/mL

also,

Density = \frac{\textup{Mass}}{\textup{Volume}}

therefore,

1.31 = \frac{\textup{32.75}}{\textup{Volume of syrup in the sample}}

or

Volume of syrup in the sample = \frac{\textup{32.75}}{\textup{1.31}}

or

Volume of syrup in the sample = 25 milliliters

Joe has 17 coins, nickels and dimes, that total up to $1.25. How many nickels does he have?
kifflom [539]

Answer:

9 nickels

Step-by-step explanation:

He has 17 coins.

$1.25 is 12 dimes and 1 nickel. But that is only 13 coins.

$1.25 can only be 17 coins if there were 9 nickels and 8 dimes.
