What is the slope of the line in this graph?

Mathematics

5 0

Answer:

The slope is 5/6

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the slope here, there are two ways.

Count the rise over run with the boxes

Or

Find Any 2 points and use y2-y1/x2-x1 to find slope

Both ways work.

For this graph Since it looks pretty basic, I‘ll use the rise over run technique

Now we start from the origin side that is where one point is and just rise vertically until I reach a point and when I do, just run that many steps.

So I reached till 5 and ran to 6 which is a  point on the coordinate graph

So to put it in slope form, it’s rise over run

Heres a easy way to remember it

lets say you wake up, you have to rise first and then run

You can’t run and then rise, that makes no sense

So here its rise 5 and run 6

so 5/6 is the slope

A school team won 15 out of 20 games. Express this as a ratio in lowest terms.
zalisa [80]

Answer:

3/4 or 3:4

Step-by-step explanation:

To express this as a ratio, we simply place 15 over 20

mathematically that would be;

15/20

divide numerator and denominator by 5

= 3/4

Henry draws an obtuse triangle how many obtuse angles does Henry's triangle have? Please eye help
Travka [436]
The sum of all three angles in any triangle is always 180 degrees. So in obtuse triangle there is only one obtuse angle (more than 90 degrees). If we have for example an obtuse angle of 91 degrees, then two other angles have to fit in 89 degrees which makes it impossible for any of them to be obtuse.

On a biased dice the probability of getting 1 is 0.3. The ice is rolled 150 times. How many ones would you expect to roll?
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:  45

=====================================================

Work Shown:

n = number of rolls = 150

p = probability of rolling a "1" = 0.3

n*p = expected number of "1"s that show up out of the 150 rolls

n*p = 150*0.3

n*p = 45

We expect about 45 ones will show up.

From the set 1/2/3/4/5 which values make the inequality n + 1 > true?
saul85 [17]

Hi there!

To make n+1>4 true, you must have n be a numebr greater than 3...

The reason why is because if it is less than 3 or 3, it’ll have to be <.

The two numbers that can make this equation true is 4 and 5...

4+1=5>4

5+1=6>4

And if it is 1,2, and 3 it would be:

1+1=2

2+1=3

3+1=4=4
