PLEASE HELP I"LL MARK YOU THE BRAINLEST AND GIVE YOU ADDITIONAL POINTS> HELP ITS DUE VERY SOON. To answer this question you m

ust divide the shape into two triangles and a rectangle and add the sums of the areas together.
You work as a custodian at a school and are responsible for wiping cafeteria tables in the shape shown. Each spray bottle covers 200 square feet, and you need to clean 6 tables.

If you have 4 bottles of spray, do you have enough to clean all 6 tables?
Yes, because the area of all 6 tables is 420 sq. ft., and the spray covers 800 sq. ft.
Yes, because the area of all 6 tables is 432 sq. ft., and the spray covers 800 sq. ft.
Yes, because the area of all 6 tables is 768 sq. ft., and the spray covers 800 sq. ft.
No, because the area of all 6 tables is 804 sq. ft., and the spray only covers 800 sq. ft.
No, because the area of all 6 tables is 912 sq. ft., and the spray only covers 800 sq. ft.

No, because the area of all 6 tables is 912 sq ft and the spray only covers 800 sq feet. To find the area of the the table, we have to account for the two ends of the tables shaped like triangles. So this means we will find the area of those by doing 2(b•h•1/2)

8•3= 24
24• 1/2= 12
This means 12 is the area of one triangle, but we have two of those so...

12+12=24

Now to find the area of the rectangle we do (b•h)
16•8= 128

Add it all together and...
128+ 24= 152

We have 6 tables in total so multiply it by 6
152• 6= 912

We have 6 tables so...
156•6= 912 sq

There we go. We need 912 sq, and we only have enough to cover 800 sq. So no.

Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

 185553.7\text{ feet}^3

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN: A space telescope on a mountaintop is housed inside of a cylindrical building with a hemispheric dome. If the circumference of the dome is 84\text{ feet}, and the total height of the building up to the top of the dome is 91\text{ feet}.

TO FIND: what is the approximate total volume of the building.

SOLUTION:

let the height of the mountaintop be h\text{ feet}

As the dome hemispherical.

circumference of a hemisphere =\frac{1}{2}\times2\pi\times radius

                                                    =\pi\times radius

                                                    \frac{22}{7}\times radius=84

                                                    radius=26.75\text{ feet}

total height of the building up to the top of the dome =\text{radius of hemisphere}+\text{height of mountaintop}

=26.75+h=91

h=64.25\text{ feet}

Volume of building =\text{volume of cylindrical mountaintop}+\text{volume of dome}

                                =\pi(radius)^2h+\frac{2}{3}\pi(radius)^3

as radius of mountain top is same as dome

putting values

                                =3.14(26.75)^264.75+\frac{2}{3}3.14(26.75)^3

                               =145484.6+40069.1

                               185553.7\text{ feet}^3

Hence the total volume of the building is 185553.7\text{ feet}^3

Which shows a correct order to solve this story problem? Peter bought 3 biscuits for $1.59 each and 3 sausages for $2.50 each at
IceJOKER [234]
Since he bought more than one of each, he needs to find the total cost of the biscuits and sausage first.

 The correct answer should be:

<span>B. Step 1: Calculate the price of 3 biscuits. Step 2: Calculate the price of 3 sausages. Step 3: Add the total amounts from Steps 1 and 2 to the amount of the tip. Step 4: Subtract that total amount from $25.</span>

Which inequality statement best represents the graph?
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If you have choices, you really should list them.

Here is the graph for y = (x  + 0.25)(x - 1.75) which will look like yours. There are all sorts of variations that are possible, but at least I could reproduce a similar looking graph.
