Higher amplitudes sound will have a _____________________ sound while lower amplitude will have a __________________________ sou

nd. 10. The speed of sound is dependent on density and temperature of the medium being used so that higher density or temperature will yield a (higher / lower) speed (Kinetic Molecular Theory). 11. Give an example of any resonance heard: 12. Give an example of any echo heard. 13. Give an example of any evidence that sound is energy traveling in waves.

Answer:

9)  HIGHER  AND LOWER INTESITY, 10) speed of sound must decrease.

11) guitar the strings, flute,  12) In the mountains,  13) sound of a low frequency horn (sub-wofeer)

Explanation:

In this exercise we are asked to complete the sentences.

9) the intensity of the sound is the square of the amplitude, the missing words are

      HIGHER INTESITY

      LOWER INTENSITY

10) the speed of sound is

          v = \sqrt{\frac{B}{\rho} }

and it is also related to temperature

         v = v_o \sqrt{1+ \frac{T}{273} }

We must be careful since the compressibility modulus (B) changes significantly between the solid, liquid and gaseous states, if we are in the same medium, the speed of sound decreases with increasing density. For a higher density the speed of sound decreases

Also the speed of sound increases with temperature, but its effect is less,

Therefore, by having these two effects in the opposite direction, the change in density is more important, so the speed of sound must decrease.

.

11) when you listen to a guitar the strings resonate with the instrument body

   on the flute has a resonance between the blown air and the flute tube

12) When you are in front of a tall object, the sound is reflected and the echo is heard.

      In the mountains, in the squares where there is a large object that reflects in sound

13) when we hear the sound of a low frequency horn (sub-wofeer) we feel the vibration of the air, this is an effect of the pressure energy of the sound on our chest

A bar on a hinge starts from rest and rotates with an angular acceleration α = 12 + 5t, where α is in rad/s2 and t is in seconds
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

Ф = 239.73 rad

Explanation:

α = 12 + 15×t

W = ∫α×dt

   = ∫(12 + 5×t)×dt

   = 12×t + 2.5×t^2

then:

Ф = ∫W×dt

   = ∫(12×t + 2.5×t^2)dt

   = 6×t^2 + 5/6×t^3

therefore the angle at t = 4.88s is:

Ф = 6×(4.88)^2 + 5/6×(4.88)^3

   = 239.73 rad

a car traveling at a velocity of 2 m/s undergoes an acceleration of 4.5 m/s^2 over a distance of 340 m. How fast will it be goin
ra1l [238]
Vi = 2m/s
a= 4.5 m/s
d= 340 m
vf= ?

use this equation ...  vf^2=vi<span>^2+2ad

you should get vf = 55.3

A warehouse is 1980 cm long,1050cm wide and 495cm high. What is the volume in cubic meters?
sveta [45]

Answer:

It should be 1,029.105 m³

But I think you can ignore the 105 because it essentially doesn't make a difference

_______ is the body or cells ability to seek and maintain equilibrium or stability in response to external changes.
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

Homeostasis is the body or cells ability to seek and maintain equilibrium or stability in response to external changes.

Explanation:

Homeostasis is a process through which a cell or entire body of an organism tends to attain it's original state by countering any external environmental change to which it is exposed. In simple words we can define homeostasis as a regulatory mechanism which helps a cell/organism to maintain constant internal environment.

For example during summer season when external environment gets extremely hot and temperature rises up to 45-48 °C in such condition our body's internal temperature which is normally 37 °C gets affected and tends to rise so as to attain equilibrium with the external environment. But if the internal temperature will rise more than optimum temperature i.e. 37 °C then our body's machinery will cease to work and it will die out if temperature will keep on rising. In such scenario to avoid temperature rise our body will use homeostasis mechanism to counter the change. In order to do so we have sweat glands. Our sweat glands will start secreting sweat as a result of which the external heat rather than raising our body's temperature will be used to evaporate water present in the sweat and we will be able to protect our body from harmful external environment.

What is the magnitude of the initial velocity?
lesya692 [45]

Magnitude of initial velocity

<em>To calculate the </em><em>magnitude</em><em> of the </em><em>velocity</em><em> at any point in time, multiply the constant acceleration rate times the time difference and then add it to the </em><em>initial velocity.</em><em> As an example, if you dropped a rock off a cliff, its </em><em>velocity</em><em> increases by 32 feet per second, every second.</em>
