A local talent is selling underground CD’s to get his rap career off the ground.
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

He should sell his CD's for $2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Each crate contains 60 blank CD’s and each crate cost $35.

This means that he will pay $35 for 60 CD's.

How much should he sell his CD’s to make a profit of $85?

He will sell each of the 60 CD's for x, which means that his earnings will be of 60x.

Profit: Earnings - Cost = 60x - 35

To make a profit of $85

60x - 35 = 85

60x = 120

x = \frac{120}{60}

x = 2

He should sell his CD's for $2.

Subtract the two equation from each other
-3x-7y=-66
-10x-7y=-24
--------------------
7x =-42
x=-6
by substituting in equation 1
(-3)(-6)-7y=-66
18-7y=-66
-7y=-84
y=12
so to check we substitute in the first equation

(-3*-6)-(7*12)=-66
18-84=-66
-66=-66
we check the second equations
-10(-6)-7(12)=-24
60-84=-24
-24=-24

Prove that congruent triangles have congruent corresponding angle bisectors.

When two triangles are congruent, everything in them is congruent (same). So, the angle bisector of one triangle is congruent to the corresponding angle bisector of the other triangle.
