Answer:

Girl's basketball team has more seniors

Step-by-step explanation:

A varsity boy's basketball team has ratio of seniors to juniors that is 7:4.

Let there are 7x seniors and 4x juniors in boy's basketball team.

ATQ,

7x+4x = 12

11x = 12

x = 12/11

Seniors = 7\times \dfrac{12}{11}=7.63

The varsity girl's basketball team has a ratio of seniors to juniors that is 3 to 2.

Let there are 7x seniors and 4x juniors in girl's basketball team.

3x+2x = 12

5x = 12

x = 12/5

Seniors = 7\times \dfrac{12}{5}=16.8

As we can see that girl's basketball team has more seniors as compared to the boy's team.

How do i complete the rest of the table
Rufina [12.5K]
To find Vanilla for ages 8-12, you add up the known amount from each flavor for that age group and subtract it from the total to get... 50 - (25 + 12) = 13
To find Chocolate for ages 13-17, you add up the amount of people know to pick up late and subtract it from the total amount of people who picked chocolate to get... 100 - (35 + 25) = 40
Now that we have that number, we can use it to find the amount of people ages 13-17 who chose Vanilla. To find this you subtract the total amount of people who chose chocolate and strawberry from the total amount of people to get... 80 - (40 + 12) = 28

This should help :)

Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

Since 10/9 is greater than 1, multiplying by 10/9 makes the value larger

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Solve the fraction

10/9 = 1.1112

Therefore 10/9 > 1

Step 2: Multiple the fraction by itself

10/9 x 10/9 = 100/81

Convert fraction to decimals

100/81 = 1.2345678901.....

1.234567901 > 1.1112

Therefore 10/9 x 10/9 is bigger than 10/9
