14. Team 8A is selling snacks at the football game to raise money for a field trip. They are selling popcorn for $2.50 and pretz
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

  • 40 popcorns and 90 pretzels sold.

============

Let the number of popcorns is x and pretzels is y.

Set up equations:

  • x + y = 130
  • 2.5x + 2y = 280

Solve by elimination, multiply the first equation by 2 and subtract from the second equation:

  • 2.5x + 2y - 2x - 2y = 280 - 2*130
  • 0.5x = 280 - 260
  • 0.5x = 20
  • x = 20/0.5
  • x = 40

Find y:

  • 40 + y = 130
  • y = 130 - 40
  • y = 90

How much water conditioner for 2.5 gallon tank?
vivado [14]
If i'm correct you should add 0.5 mL to your 1 gallon tank, and I would say about 1.25 mL to your 2.5 gallon. It will not be extreme if you end up putting a little more in than you are supposed to. I'm not 100% because i haven't slept so my brain is being slow.

Hey fellas, giving brainliest and a lot of points to who gets this correct
Ainat [17]

Answer:

7\frac{1}{12} or \frac{85}{12}

Step-by-step explanation:

total boxes = Jills boxes + Mikes boxes

total boxes = 5\frac{1}{3} +1\frac{3}{4}

                   = \frac{16}{3} + \frac{7}{4}

                   = \frac{64+21}{12}

                   = \frac{85}{12}

                   = 7\frac{1}{12}
